I joined the family social-alarm monitoring business in 1993 as a call centre operator. Progressing to Centre Manager I managed the staff, looked after quality assurance and began a lifelong work of writing Operator and Response Manuals… TSA was in its infancy then as “Calling for Help” and our group of like-minded centre managers started to look at how we could improve quality and consistency in the industry. I have driven the business to achieve accreditation to quality standards and to provide a suite of bespoke and innovative services. I am now CEO, providing quality services to more than 35000 people across the country. We look for creative solutions with services such as crisis response and a new style of partnership working such as our Community Interest Company; Suffolk Careline, which is a 50/50 partnership with Suffolk County Council. When not working I enjoy spending time with my 10year old son, riding my motorcycle and singing in a band.
