Mark joined Hampshire County Council in 2001 as part of the Supporting People team developing supported housing initiatives within the county, including services for older people. Prior to this he had run a homelessness charity in West London and worked developing homeless prevention initiatives across the capital for Centrepoint and the Peabody Trust.

Mark’s current role is as a commissioner within Adult Services with a focus on prevention and early intervention.  Specific lead roles are telecare, local welfare assistance, carers strategy, independent financial advice, the voluntary and community sector and VCS grants.  Mark also has key responsibilities in Category Management and Public Health commissioning/contract management. Mark has been involved with the HCC/Argenti Telehealthcare Partnership since its inception and has oversight of the contract and the outcomes it is designed to achieve for the Council.
