Praveen Thokala

Praveen Thokala is a health economic modeller in the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield. He joined ScHARR in March 2010 after completing a MASc from the University of Toronto and a PhD from the University of Southampton. He was involved in an health technology assessment (HTA) project on telemonitoring for patients recently discharged with heart failure.
He is currently part of a £1.8m research programme - Overcoming the Barriers to Mainstreaming Assisted Living Technologies (MALT), working on developing financial models for telemonitoring.
