Chris has been employed within Local Government in Glasgow for the last 26 years. Over this time he’s worked in the homeless person unit in admin and as a single homeless caseworker.
Over the last 13 years he’s worked within Community Alarms and Telecare service. Initially employed as a call handler, before becoming Team Leader and finally Operations Manager.
For the last 3 1/2 years he’s been responsible for managing Cordia's Telecare Service.
In June 2011, he lead Cordia's Telecare service through the TSA accreditation process, and was delighted when they achieved accredited status for Referral, Monitoring and Response including European Technical Specification.
Providing Telecare to the citizens of Glasgow has been challenging but ultimately rewarding. He have tried to instil a "Can Do" attitude with all his staff and this is reflected in the positive feedback from Service Users.
